Aya in Japan
I shot with Aya while living in Japan last year, and we had a lot of fun working together. in addition to lingerie, she brought a gorgeous silk kimono that she had found at a vintage shop in Tokyo, which had a stunning modern design with vibrant orange pattern on the inside, even though it was at least 70 years old. We also made use of the local flower shop that was near where I was staying. I really loved using the massive Chrysanthemums that are popular in Japan at that time of year. They have been a symbol of the Japanese emperor for centuries, and there’s a whole culture around breeding extravagant varieties for ornate floral displays in honor of the imperial family.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my work with Aya.
