Summer Sun in Venice with Sam Aotaki
Sam is an actress and emerging filmmaker, and we’ve known each other for a long time now. After reconnecting earlier this year, we were finally able to shoot again.
It is always a joy to work with someone over a long period of time, first because it is easy to jump right into that rapport that makes for soulful photographs, and also because it is so interesting to see how a person changes over time, and what stays the same. We plan to keep shooting, and do a retrospective in four or five decades. It will be a thrilling show, I already know it, and I hope you can make it when it happens.
